Good news for Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs fans: Shoresy is coming back. Hulu has picked up a sixth season of Jared Keeso's hockey comedy, set to premiere in 2027. Here's where things stand.

A quick history

Letterkenny premiered on Canada's Crave in 2016 and ran for 12 seasons before ending in 2023. For most of that run, Shoresy, the trash-talking hockey player Keeso also plays, was a voice without a face. The camera never showed him.

That changed with Shoresy, which premiered on Crave in May 2022 and follows him to Sudbury, Ontario, where he joins the struggling Bulldogs and vows the team won't lose again. Hulu carries the show in the U.S.

Season 5, spoiler-light

Season 5 arrived on Crave on Christmas Day 2025 and hit Hulu on February 21, 2026, with all six episodes at once. The big shift: Shoresy moves off the ice and into coaching, trying to hold the Bulldogs together as a mentor instead of a player.

What we know about season 6

Deadline reported the season 6 pickup in January, alongside the season 5 release date. Season 5's returning cast included Tasya Teles as Nat, Blair Lamora as Ziigwan, Keilani Rose as Miigwan, Jonathan-Ismael Diaby as Dolo, and former NHL player Terry Ryan as Hitch.

Reports this year said season 6 was expected to go into production in fall 2026. In an interview earlier this year, Teles said the cast would love to bring more Letterkenny characters into Shoresy, especially with 2026 marking Letterkenny's 10th anniversary, but that it's ultimately up to Keeso.

While you wait

Letterkenny and Shoresy both stream on Hulu in the U.S. And if you need a refresher on the lingo, "ferda" is short for "for the boys." Use it responsibly.
