How We Report
Local Print Shop is a small, hand screen-printing shop. Alongside the shirts, we publish stories about pop culture and about Pittsburgh. Here's how we handle them.
What we promise
- Headlines tell you what the story is. No bait, no withholding the point.
- Facts are checked against sources we can name, and we name them when it matters.
- If we can't confirm something, we say so or leave it out.
- No ads, no autoplay video, no pop-ups.
How stories get made
Every story is researched against published sources and read and approved by someone at the shop before it goes up. Stories run under our house byline, JayNado.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it and add a correction note at the end of the story explaining what changed. If you spot a mistake, let us know.
Where the shirts come in
Nobody pays us to cover anything. We sell shirts, and that's what keeps these pages ad-free. Shirts related to a story are listed in a box labeled "From the shop," and when a story mentions one of our shirts, we say plainly that it's ours.
